#12 - Lorna by Debra White Smith

(292 pages) This is #2 in The Debutantes series and another one I picked up from the bargain shelves at Mardel. Obviously this one is about Lorna and her possible romance with the new mayor of Houston, Michael. However, as the girls are investigating a Houston pastor that they feel was wrongly accused of a crime, Michael's name keeps coming up. Should Lorna investigate him further or follow her heart? Again, a great read. I looked for book #3 when I picked up these two and didn't see it. Now I have to find the last book in the series, Brittan, since I have enjoyed these others so much.
